In The Doghouse

Debi Friedmann, Owner

A 1994 graduate of Elizabethtown College, Debi’s bachelor’s degree in communications coupled with a double minor in business administration and psychology laid the groundwork for her entrepreneurial pursuits. A graphic designer by trade, she honed her skills in advertising at Image Dynamics, an agency in Baltimore, Maryland. Her next move was into publishing with the Rosen Group and North American Publishing Company. In 1996, she formed her own business, Designing Wright, the predecessor to Blue Dog Printing & Design. Debi serves on the board of directors for the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce and is President of the Women’s Business Connection.

Debi received the President’s Award for the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce in 2009, the Communications Alumni Award from Elizabethtown College in 2010 and the Small Businessperson of the Year Award from the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce in 2014.

In her non-working hours, she creates American/Military themed multi-media art to sell and donates proceeds of sales to the local USO.

Jen Schneberger, Graphic Designer

Jen grew up in Northern California as one of 10 kids. She obtained a degree in marketing from CSU, Sacramento and after an internship at a finance company, was hired as a credit specialist. Within a year of starting that job & meeting her (now) husband, Jen moved with him to France where she learned French & tutored kids. Upon relocation back to California, Jen got a job in human resources at a title company. It was after having her first baby when Jen started designing ads for a neighbor’s coupon book business that enabled her to work from home with her daughter. To further her skills, Jen earned a certificate in graphic design and worked as a marketing assistant for a small safety company. By the time she moved to the east coast, Jen was doing graphic design on a freelance basis. In 2010, Jen sought freelance work from Blue Dog and instead found a job there. Flexibility, autonomy and a family atmosphere have kept her at Blue Dog ever since. Jen resides in Downingtown with her husband Tom & daughters Taylore and Rachel.

Jennifer Giunta, Customer Service Manager

Jennifer joined the Blue Dog family in August of 2014 after an 8-year long career at Maternal Child Health Consortium (MCHC) as their Manager of Administrative Operations. As a former client of Blue Dog, Jennifer fit in right away. Before her career at MCHC, Jennifer was the Business and Marketing Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Region at Wilmington Trust. A West Chester native, Jennifer is passionate about supporting her community—one passion she shares with Blue Dog. She describes each day at Blue Dog as being different from the day before, providing her daily stories for her husband, Phil and her sons, Nicklous and Alexander.

Sue Casso Rogers, Partner

A West Chester native and graduate of Henderson High School, Sue graduated from Susquehanna University with a degree in English. After moving to Delaware County and Princeton, New Jersey, she returned to West Chester in 1991—for good. Sue took a “temporary” job—that lasted for 14 years—as a sales associate with Denney Rayburn Company. In 2000, she started a promotional products company called Custom Printing and Promotions. In 2013, Sue created a retirement plan that involved working with a community-minded company that would give her customers hands-on service. Blue Dog Printing & Design became that partner because of skills, resources and interest in personalized customer service. She loves her family, friends and serving her community. Her husband, Bob, supports her in business and community activities. In her spare time, she plays golf and travels with her husband.
